I'm sorry to say this but there is no good way to memorize this. The cerebrum controls everything voluntary and is in the frontal lobe. The limbic system controls emotion, behavior and memory. The thalamus receives and sends out messages, the hypothalamus controls recognition. The cerebellum controls info on muscle and joint position.
