Muddiest Point

hey guys! I'm confused on Antibodies and how they work with other cells. Can someone help explain?

Thanks!

  1. An antibody is a protein that either attacks antigens directly or produces antigen-binding proteins. They work with other cells by tagging antigens for destruction by immune cells. They also may be attached to particular immune cells or may be free-floating in plasma.

  2. The antibodies tag the pathogens so that the macrophage can identify the pathogen and destroy it
