Muddiest Point!!!

Hey everyone!

I'm a little confused on the functions of the sepal and the petal.

If someone could help that'd be great. Thanks!

  1. The petal is found inside the sepal, and it attracts pollinators to the flower. The sepal protects the flower while it's developing (it is green and leaf-like).

  2. Think of the petal as a son, and the septal as the mother. Because: the son wants to look as nice as he can to attract as many girls(pollinators) and the sepals as the mom protecting her son since formation. I literally just made that up, hope it helps.
