Muddiest Point

Hi guys, I am a little confused on the function of the stamen and the pistil. If someone could help me, that would be great!

    Stamen is the male parts of the flower. The male parts are the anther and the filament.
    Pistil is the female parts of the flower. The female parts are the stigma, the style, and the ovary.
