My opinion on this story is that hunting of endangered species regardless of where they live should not be tolerated at all. As the story said, the hunters that hunt the endangered species get money for hunting and they use it as a profit. Endangered species should not be used as a profit.It should be used as a beautiful way to study nature and to study life and the world around us. The word endangered means that there is not many left, so why hunt them and decrease the number of animals even more. Overall, I strongly agree with the woman who is fighting to end the hunting of the endangered species because it is not supposed to be used for a profit, or for trophy hunting. I am adamant about not hunting the animals that are supposed to be preserved in an environment where they do not have the threat of declining even more.

My personal opinion on hunting endangered species is that it should stop, because if they continue hunting them they will eventually become completely extinct. The hunters also need to realize that if these animals become extinct they will not be able to make a profit off of the anymore. Being an animal person i also feel like these animals are being abused because there are not that many left and they still are hunting them. I agree with the lady that is trying to stop this issue, unless they are people surviving off of the endangered species (not profit wise) but natively. I believe that these endagered animals should be valued instead of taken advantage of, so that they do not become completely extinct.
ReplyDeleteFirst, I was really surprised that this was Texas. Also, I think this is wrong. Killing animals you love? I don't believe that he loves the animals. How can you kill something you love. That makes no sense. They make money off of killing animals. I think that is really sad. Animals should have their own rights. They should be able to live their own life peacefully. Killing them helps them? I really don't understand the process. I don't think it benefits the animals at all. Animals aren't alive to be killed. It would be really sad if they ended up extinct. All these people trying to prevent hunting must be so frustrated. I can understand how they feel. The animals are really beautiful and they should be kept alive. People should let them live on their own.
ReplyDeleteHunting animals period is just wrong, and to continue hunting a species when it is endangered? That's even worse. Animals are really special in our environments, and by hunting the ones endangered will just make them become extinct. I think more people should get together and protest in order to stop this. It is a huge issue, and in order to do something about it, we have to to persistent. Killing animals for prophit is not a benefit to anyone. When a species becomes extinct, this can lead to other downfalls in the environment/community. The hunters need to put themselves in the animals perspective. We don't hunt other humans for money, so why hunt animals for money? We wouldn't want to wipe out humans, and we shouldn't make species of animals extinct.
