Hey guys, so I don't understnad what Mrs. Stein was explaining in class on friday about the cycle. It was like hypothalamus gland gives to the pituitary gland and that gives to something else. I did'nt understand the concept of the cycle and how it worked. If someone could help that would be grand!
The hypothalamus regulates the secretions of the pituitary gland, or in other words it controls what the pituitary gland sends out. From there, the pituitary gland sends out the two hormones FSH and LH. These two hormones control/affect what happens in the ovaries, then the ovaries secrete( send out) the two hormones estrogen and progesterone. I hope this helps!
