Muddiest Point

Hi Everyone,
I am confused on how to find the phenotypic ratio? If someone can please explain this to me, that would be great!

Thanks,

  1. Well if
    Q= 2 eyes
    and
    q= 3 eyes
    And if the final GENOTYPES are:

    1Qq:1qq OR 50%Qq,50%qq

    then the phenotypic radio would be:

    1two eyes:1three eyes OR 50% two eyes, 50% three eyes

    It would be that (^) because the phenotypic ratio states the possible offspring that could result from the cross in words (describing the thing like in this case two eyes or three eyes NOT QQ or Qq or qq)

    I hope that helps!

  2. Also phenotypes are always traits not the percentages outcome.
