Scribe post**

HEY THERE (:

For class , Ms. Stein gave us two flower stamps for our UP 33-41. We got to discuss UP 33-41 homework with our table group & then we went over the answers together. After that, we did a little review on a dihybrid & incomplete codomaniance. Ms. Stein showed us a chart and explain to us how you find phenotype ratio & genotype. She also told us that heterozgous for both traits then have to do 16 boxes for the punnett squares. Once we reviewed, we learned a new lesson about multiple alleles & sex linked. We went over a powerpoint. A multiple allele in blood type, the "A" & "B" alleles are codominant. The "O" allele is recessive. For human chromosomes there are 22 pairs of autosomes & 1 pair of sex chromosomes. Many of the genetic disorders are autosomal recessive. The sex linked disorders are on the X chromosomes, many of them are recessive. Men are more likely to carry a disorder because the have a X & Y chromosome, but women's have a extra pair of chromosomes, X & X. If the disease is on one X chromosome for females, then they are only a carrier, but if they have a disaease for both X chromosomes, then they have the disease. This is the same for male but they only have one X chromosomes so if the diease of the only X chromosome is effected then the male is affected.

After learning that, we worked on UP 43-46 & The bell rang !

The next scribe is....HYEON(:
