Muddiest Point

Hey guys! So my muddiest point would have to be what exactly eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells are and how they're different. I know we did this in like the way beginning, but I'm still kinda stuck on it.

Thanks!

  2. Eukaryotic cells-Multicellular organisms have eukaryotic cells. This is the type of cells that we have. You can remember it by the "eu" which is pronounced YOU. They are larger and complex. It has a nucleus and the cell organelles (mitochondria, Golgi body, etc.). DNA is in the nucleus and there are many varieties.
Prokaryotic cells-Bacteria have these cells. They are much simpler and smaller. They don't have a nucleus or the cell organelles.
In other words, eukaryotic cells are advanced cells and prokaryotic cells are primitive cells.
They both have ribosomes, cytoplasm, and a cell membrane.
