Muddiest Point

What is aceolomate, and coelomate? What does it have to do with invertebrates and vertebrates?
Also, is the studying of classification taxonomy? That word confuses me..

  1. Aceolomates are animals that have no body cavity. An example of this is a flatworm. An coelomate is an animal with a body cavity completely lined in mesoderm. Annelids are coelomates.

    To answer your other question, taxonomy is the study of classification of organisms. Taxa are the groups that animals are classified into. For example, a kingdom is a taxon.
