My muddiest point in the class is the energy pyramid and what 10% energy efficent is.
I'm really struggling with it this so if anyone can answer this, thanks (:
The 10% effecient is basically saying that out of the 100% of energy a trophic level has only 10% is reached to the higher level. So basically 90% of the energy goes to the heat. A energy pyramid is basically just showing us how man percent each level gains from the lower level. Here's a link that has an example of a energy pyamid.
